Privacy Policy

The short version

Dostatok has no account and no sign-in, does not connect to your bank, has no analytics and no ads, and there is no server run by the developer. Everything you enter is kept on your device and — if you choose — synced only to your own private iCloud. The developer cannot see it.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for Dostatok is Maksym Melnychuk, the app’s independent developer.

What data exists, and where it lives

Everything you create in Dostatok is stored on your device. The data involved is:

• Your finances — accounts, balances, transactions, categories, tags, budgets, savings goals, debts and recurring payments you enter yourself.
• Receipt photos — only the specific photos you choose to attach to a transaction.
• Rules and settings — auto-categorization rules, dashboard layout, theme, base currency and other preferences.
• Widget data — a small summary (for example your net worth trend) shared between the app and its widgets through a container on your device, so widgets can display it.

If iCloud is on for Dostatok, this data also syncs to your own private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit (container iCloud.com.maxfromzero.dostatok). That is your iCloud, tied to your Apple Account — the developer has no access to it, and no other server ever receives your financial data.

Exchange rates — the only network request

To convert between currencies, Dostatok periodically downloads public exchange rates from the ExchangeRate-API service (open.er-api.com). The request contains no personal or financial data — it simply asks for today’s rates. Like any website, the service can see the technical connection details of the request (such as your IP address); it is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. You can also enter rates manually.

Device features Dostatok uses

• Face ID / Touch ID / passcode — if you turn on App Lock, iOS verifies you with LocalAuthentication. Dostatok only learns whether authentication succeeded; it never receives your biometric data.
• Notifications — debt, recurring-payment and daily logging reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent through a push server.
• Photos — receipts are added with Apple’s system photo picker, so Dostatok only receives the photos you pick, never your whole library.
• Siri, Shortcuts, widgets and Control Center — these open quick add inside the app on your device.

Exports, backups and sharing

CSV and PDF exports, backup files and the anonymized summary for an AI assistant are created on your device only when you ask, and go only where you send them through the iOS share sheet. If you share them with another app or service, that app’s own privacy policy applies.

Tips

Optional tips are processed by Apple’s in-app purchase system (StoreKit) under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Apple is the seller and handles all payment information; the developer never sees your card or Apple Account details and receives only Apple’s aggregated, anonymous sales reports.

No tracking, no ads, no analytics

Dostatok shows no advertising, includes no analytics or tracking SDK, and does not track you across other apps or websites. It does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, because it has nothing to track. Your data is never sold or shared. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide anonymous crash reports; these contain no financial data.

Your rights and your control

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of and objection to processing, and data portability. Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud — not with the developer — you can exercise them directly, at any time:

• Access and portability — export your transactions to CSV or create a full backup file at any time, and restore it on any device.
• Rectification — edit or correct any record directly in the app.
• Erasure — delete any record in the app. Deleting the app removes its data from the device; to remove the iCloud copy, delete Dostatok’s data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.

The developer holds none of your data, so there is nothing to hand over or delete on your behalf. If you still have a question or a formal data-protection request, email support@maxfromzero.com and you will get a reply.

Children

Dostatok is not directed at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone — including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the app changes. Any material change is reflected here, with a new “Last updated” date at the top.
